Frankly I have no idea why anyone pays any attention or credence to you or any celebrity...it is beyond my comprehension, except to show how out of touch they are (Rosie, Kathy Griffin, DeNiro. etc ) when they have no knowledge of intelligence briefings, nor do they really follow the (insiders) in government. I think it’s worth separating disagreement from being “out of touch.” You don’t need access to intelligence briefings to judge results or patterns. Most voters never have that access, yet we still expect them to think critically. Celebrities don’t have special authority, but neither do politicians or parties simply by default. If corruption and truth really matter, then skepticism should apply evenly, not only to one side. Otherwise, it stops being analysis and quietly becomes loyalty. Thats something any healthy democracy should question.
Being forced into one of two teams ruins everything. Btw, for 5 years I had the same security clearance and access as the President (under Bush & Obama). The initial Wikileaks dump was literally the feed from Foreign governments I filtered through to decide what to forward to the CJCS - and half the time we were wrong about what turned out to actually be significant (yes .. all the data was there, and obvious - for the government to easily prevent 9/11 .. some trained schmuck like me did not connect the dots that were obvious to a school kid in hindsight . Here is the 'truth': real time reality has no narrative .. it is random chaos. The foremost motive of EVERY elected or responsible official I encountered at the Pentagon or White House was to make it through the day without being publicly embarrassed or blindsided. UNTIL TRUMP (!!). He does not care about either one of those things. THAT is what makes him different.
what do our soliders and civilians gain by following criminal orders? short-term discount gas to take us to&from our unaffordable homes, over-priced grocery stores, profit seeking pharmacies, financially crippling doctor appointments and low paying jobs created by the billionaires we are groomed to fawn over, who steal our tax deductions & make us pay for theirs? our cheap fuel mimics the Soliders and civilians Putin burns through who gain nothing but leaving behind their families & country to a dictator who will burn through them too. our husbands, wives, children, neighbors and community are nothing more than another fill-up for one man. we are over taxed, under paid and everything made in&out of USA cost more&more even the basics. billionaires hoard tax breaks and deductions the way they hoard businesses, homes & other extremely expensive "investments" that the working class pays for every time they clock-in. monthly bills become harder and harder to pay every month while billionaires make record breaking profits every year and accumulate enough Wealth to last thousands of lifetimes. they/them are not waiting in the shadows to swoop in and save us; we the people. they/them ARE US! and we can wait for "the moment" to be strong and united and take back the power we pay into empowering OUR GOVERNMENT, but if that moment isn't now, the layers of events that leads to the hard choices, will have taken everything. we fight loosely and tentatively like we have everything to lose but only win when we begin fighting like there's nothing more to lose. as our cities, civilians, soldiers, jobs, basics, and freedoms are weaned from our lives slowly, we acclimate to the newest shackles of rules, hardly aware that at some point these things will no longer be options. that our only options are abide and sacrifice. Ukraine was lied to by Russia who feigned good intentions and when their guard was down, they were sucker punched. Ukraine should have seen the symptoms much earlier. we are in the same boat, in the USA. unaware how sick we really are. how devastating and desperate the fight will be if we don't fight hard and dirty EARLY.
Good interview…..just one thing Tim, flush the Catholic bible…..there are many many issues with the Catholic faith……they believe one must work for their salvation…..they do not believe in grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone……they believe that paying indulgences to the Catholic Church will gain you forgiveness……
