I’ve been collecting New Yorker cartoons for over 30 years, and each week on my Substack, my guest at Club Random and I pick a few and describe them to each other to see if they still hold up.
Can you help me understand why one needs to pay to see the Billy Joel interview, or other wonderful things that you are posting? I am not being snarky; I am just trying to understand the Substack protocol better and why rich people cannot contribute their offerings. I know that people may be trying to support themselves or put money into a good cause—that may be the case with you.
Substack gives you a platform on which to play, whimsically follow some of your passions. So, can you help me better understand?
Just sayin’
Why do you find it necessary to deal with bad hairdressers. Stop it .the color of your hair is not found in nature . Let it go .
Finally! Brian is wonderful!
